Its a couple of games away but what are peoples thoughts on this game , can we put right the many wrongs of what happened at oakwell...for me we will be a much different proposition then what we were then..Billy is in fine form and with a fit Diouff playing alongside him i am confident we can pull of a win, we really do need a quality keeper but Saunders will know that i'm going for a 2-1 win to the Rovers.. cheers

Got to admit with your home form at the minute and us being up and down I'm a bit nervous going into this match (And Weeds at home too) You can't win them all but it would be nice if we could!!

Doncaster Rovers will have to do without Herold Goulon and Habib Beye for the home game with Barnsley on Monday.

Both players will serve a one-match suspension following the game at Watford today.

Goulon received a red card after picking up two yellow cards during the game.

The on loan midfielder received his marching orders in the second half, for a foul on Michael Kightly, with the score at 1-1.

Beye picked up his fifth yellow card in just his seventh game for Rovers, since arriving from Aston Villa in November.

The cut off point for a suspension for five yellow cards was after the game at Watford.

Pascal Chimbonda also looks like he will be missing once again after what looked like a reoccurrence of the hip injury that has kept him out since October.

Chimbonda lasted just 25 minutes in his return to the side before being forced off.

Rovers will however welcome back Brian Stock on Monday after he served a one match ban today for accumulating five yellow cards.

ROVERS boss Dean Saunders has admitted his side ‘owe the supporters a performance’ against Barnsley after the horror show in the reverse fixture.

The 2-0 defeat at Oakwell featured a red card for Adam Lockwood and a dire performance from Doncaster who were booed off by a section of the travelling support at the final whistle.

And Saunders believes Rovers must show the fans what they are made of when they host Barnsley on Monday.

He said: “We owe the fans and we need to show them what we’re made of.

“I was a bit embarrassed coming away from the ground because it was a local derby and we hadn’t got a grip of it.

“You can still lose the game but wyou need to get a grip on it.

“We stood off them, gave them too much time on the ball and they played around us.

“If you give players time to move and make angles, especially Barnsley who have a lot of energy, they will play around you.”

Saunders insists the pain of the Oakwell defeat has inspired Rovers to produce better performances since.

He said: “You’ve got to take a bit of pain to make it right.

“The Barnsley game is definitely why we’ve got some of the results we’ve had since.

“We’re battling better than we’ve ever battled.

“The players are starting to realise they need to do all the ugly side of the games and the things players don’t like doing.

“When everyone does their jobs and the other side of things, that’s when you get a winning team and when talent shines through.”

Barnsley will be without skipper Jacob Butterfield for the derby clash at Doncaster.

Butterfield injured knee ligaments following a robust challenge from Leeds midfielder Michael Brown in Saturday's win over Leeds and will be sidelined for three to four weeks.

Tykes manager Keith Hill is already without fellow midfielders Danny Drinkwater (thigh), on loan from Manchester United, and Jim O'Brien (stomach muscle), while defender Miles Addison played the last game of his loan spell on Saturday and has returned to Derby.

Ricardo Vaz Te stepped off the substitutes' bench to fire a hat-trick against Leeds and could be recalled to the starting line-up.

Hill chose not to include teenagers John Stones and Paul Digby in the squad for the Leeds game, but could be tempted with his small squad now down to the bare bones.

Doncaster are expected to be without defender Pascal Chimbonda when they host South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.

Chimbonda, who recently penned an extended contract at the Keepmoat Stadium until the end of the season, had been sidelined with a hip flexor problem and broke down 25 minutes into his return in the 4-1 defeat to Watford.

On-loan Blackburn midfielder Herold Goulon is unavailable after being sent off for two bookable offences at Vicarage Road and his place is expected to be taken by Brian Stock, who returns from a suspension of his own.

Defender Habib Beye is also banned after collecting his fifth booking in eight appearance for Rovers, which could pave the way for fellow Senegal international Lamine Diatta to make his debut.

Boss Dean Saunders could have new signings Damien Plessis, Mamadou Bagayoko and Habib Bamogo available if international clearance has been granted in time.
