Its a real shame, went there every home game...seemed like they relied on the football supporters a bit too much, as soon as the season ended the custom dried up and they went under...would be nice if someone started it up again, but like Pete says your a bit stuck for pubs, either the cheswold on the other side of the lake or the Lakeside and thats if they let you in, not normally a problem though..

You know Daggers..i think most of the Donny whites will be sat in the local pub...if there anything like the Donny whites who we will shortly be seeing at the Brooke arms in thorne none actually go to a game, they might as well be Leeds fans cos they would put as much into Rovers coffers as they do into Leeds ....Zilch..

Willaspoons and the Drum in Bentley are the local equivalents of Bellend Road.
We're a town full of Rovers supporters and a good few Leeds 'plastics' ; who incidentally ALL ought to be given a white feather each on sight.
Funny thing is that they always moan about the 'glory hunters' of Manure and Liverpool whilst probably having a higher proportion of the same folk following them. Check out just where the away coaches are coming from on Friday, a good % of them as always will be from outside of Yorkshire........very very sad considering the paucity of their own home crowds.
There will be many many Manure , Chelsea and Liverpool fans sat in the bars of Leeds hoping to hell we beaty them on Friday.
Remember that when they start the usual 'your just a town full of Leeds fans'........you and I support our home town club.
