Donny v Leeds
A couple of weeks away but looking forward to this game, a win here will give the players a huge phycological boost, revenge time for last seasons game at elland road....we will more then likely have new players in the squad...can Deano weave his magic again...i reckon he can....2-0 to the Red and white Hoops...

There are also rumours about a certain ex Leeds player joining us,,now if that were to happen in time for this match it would certainly make it a feisty affair..

They didn't deserve to win when they came a few weeks ago in the carling cup...this time we will teach em a lesson...

Too bloody right but for the woodwork and 2 Nunez 'wonderstrikes' we should have walked it. Time to right that wrong.

It should be a very even game if they keep that Nunez character off the pitch. I feel confident of a win though, we should have won the last game.

Re: Donny v Leeds
JOHN RYAN insists Doncaster Rovers are overdue a bit of derby luck in Friday night’s home clash with Leeds United – after claiming the Whites were fortunate to triumph in August’s Carling Cup encounter.
Simon Grayson’s troops make their second visit to Rovers inside eight weeks for a televised showdown, with precious Championship points on the line this time following his side’s 2-1 second-round success on August 23.
Victory at 20th-placed Rovers, who haven’t beaten United in three previous meetings at the Keepmoat Stadium, would see the visitors jump six places into the play-off positions in fifth, just three points off the second automatic promotion spot.
There’s also plenty riding on Friday’s White Rose clash for the hosts, who can rise up towards the safe confines of mid-table if they triumph and extend their unbeaten run to four matches under new boss Dean Saunders.
Rovers chairman Ryan said: “Leeds are a very good side and I anticipate a very good game.
“As it was in the Carling Cup when I felt we were particularly unlucky where (winger) Kyle Bennett could have had a hat-trick that day.
“Maybe it’s our turn to get a bit of luck and maybe that result might reverse itself!
“Leeds had two shots on goal and (Ramon) Nunez put them both in, though they were great strikes, to be fair.”
He added: “It’s a big Yorkshire derby and there’s lots at stake.
“We started the season really badly, but I think Dean Saunders has got that winning habit.
“Friday is a big game; if we win, we’ll go into mid-table, bearing in mind a few weeks ago we were bottom of the table with one point.
“It’s a case of so far, so good. I’ve been impressed by Dean’s attitude. He’s incredibly positive and a real winner and that’s what football is all about; we’ve won two and drawn one of our league games (under him) and won a couple of friendlies against Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester United reserves. It’s a nice habit to get into.”
A record Keepmoat contingent of 4,200 away fans for a league game – likely to be around a third of the crowd – will ensure United aren’t short of support just as they weren’t in August when around two-fifths of the 8,505 gate were Leeds followers.
And Ryan admits Rovers are still coming to terms with losing a generation of supporters to the Whites during their glory years.
Ryan said: “A lot of Doncaster football fans will be in the Leeds end; that’s the big problem we have. All the young people in Doncaster now support us, but we did lose a generation.
“Obviously, we always remember our big day at Wembley and it was a very sweet feeling beating Leeds (in the 2007-08 League One play-off final).
“There were quite a few Leeds fans in Doncaster that we could give a bit of stick to!”
