And it's a double South Yorkshire win as Barnsley beat Middlesbrough 2-0 and Doncaster beat Hull 3-1! Very Happy

Doncaster have snatched 1st place from Middlesbrough, it was decided whether Barnsley or Doncaster would be top by number of goals scored, seeing as the goal difference is the same.

Ok here's another rather late update, been quite busy as of late...

The update is for the game between Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield United, Rovers win now sends them one point clear at the top of the table while Uniteds loss sends them bottom of the table losing out to Hull City on goal difference by one.

Okay... Big delay on the updates, sorry people! lol!

I recently got a brand new Windows 7 PC and hadn't set up Excel on it. (I use Excel to edit League)

Anyways here comes the update..

https://sites.google.com/site/yorkshireleague/

The update adds Doncaster Rovers 2-1 win against Middlesbrough which sends them onto the same points as Barnsley but just losing out on goal difference. (Cheers Leeds! Laughing)

Also, Hull Citys 3-2 win against Sheff Utd which shoots Hull City up to 3rd place 4 points behind the two current league leaders, while Sheff Utd stay bottom with 4 losses in all 4 of their games.

Seems like their form against other yorkie teams hasn't been as fortunate this year! :/

...

Then again, they should probably go and tell that to the Deedar clubs! lol! Although to be fair... The Fowls only have 2 games in the league this season due to unfortunately only having one other Yorkshire team in their League... But to be honest......... It's their own fault that aint it? Laughing

UPDATE following todays two Yorkshire derbies.

Sheffield United 2-2 Doncaster Rovers

Rovers now move 1st one point in front of Barnsley after a draw with Sheffield United today, while Sheffield United, despite not winning, have claimed their first game that hasn't been a loss this season! They move in front of Sheffield Wednesday with that point and are now guaranteed to have finished above last place right at the death!

Huddersfield Town 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Huddersfield Town have done the best they possibly could in this league and have won both of their scheduled Yorkshire League games of the season, both being against Sheffield Wednesday, while the Owls obviously have lost both of their games which has turned out to be a disappointing Yorkshire League season for them, both the Terriers and the Owls are now marked in red in the League.

Update following yesterdays draw between Hull City and Leeds United! The draw does nothing for Leeds, but the one point puts Hull City above the already-finished-for-the-season Huddersfield Town.

Hull City now sit at 3rd, looking to make an assualt on 2nd place, another 3 points for them could see them catch up with the top 2.. Their next game being against Doncaster, who are 2nd currently.

It could possibly be a vital game, Hull also have Middlesbrough to play the game after this, and if they beat Doncaster and Middlesbrough, they'll be in for a chance of finishing 2nd!
