Paralympics flame
First flame has been lit in Trafalgar Square as they will be all over the UK over the next few days. Starting to look forward to the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday and to see all the fabulous efforts of the World Paralympians.
I'm going for top of the table on this one, the Paralympics has finally come home.

Yep love it , if I ever ended up in a wheelchair .........that's the sport for me.
I'm still struggling to see why some of them are classified as 'disabled' given some of the fantastic results.
I can see a day not too faraway when the fastest folk in the world will be double amputees with bionic legs. To have an injury prone 'real' leg will be a distinct disadvantage. That 100m final last night was awesome oh and he's white for a change in a sport dominated by black runners.

Agree with you I feel same. I dont think Olympic will be in British for 50 years or more. But Commonweath games will be in Glasgow in 2 years time and hopefully great games

No they made a point of lighting torches off the final one before it went out.
