This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

I actually watched this.

Was going to put a bet on that Haye would win by points, but decided against it. Bad decision.

I really don't understand the boxing points system, but listening to the commentators (Ian Darke and Jim Watt) they had Valuev down as the winner by one point. However Haye was walking around with him arms in the air before the winner was announced, so he was confident.

That's pretty common, regardless of how the fight has gone. Valuev was probably doing the same thing in his corner of the ring. Haye did deserve it in the end. He's getting criticism from some quarters, the fight being less than a classic, but he was only ever going to beat the big Russian that way. To go in all guns blazing would have been suicidal.
