Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

We have received an allocation of 1572 tickets from Barnsley FC.

Tickets will go on sale as follows:
Monday 31st October - Season Ticket Holders (1 per Book).
Monday 7th November - Alliance Members / Multi Game Holders (1 per person).
Monday 14th November - General Sale

Prices:
£30.00 Adults
£18.00 Senior 65+
£18.00 Full Time Students (18-20yrs)
£18.00 12 -17 yrs
£7.00 11yrs and Under
Wheelchair / Ambulant Disabled pay the appropriate price+ Carer FOC (Limited availability)

Absolute ripp off prices to sit in that dumpsite.I know a few Rovers fans boycotting it due to the prices and I am thinking about boycotting myself

Price may be expensive but it very hard to miss south yorkshire derby match & I still go

This will be the 1st match that i can remember where we have played at Oakwell in the 32 years i've followed the Rovers and not gone. I'm not paying £84 just for tickets for my family (Me, an OAP and 2 12-17 year olds) to watch 90 minutes of football and then have all the other expense of travelling and refreshments + programs etc on top of that.

Skellow sadly both clubs are trying to promote themselves as 'family' clubs and attempting to build fanbases...........this decision flies right in the face of their purported ethos.
Every youngster and their parent's should have been actively encouraged to go to this game . It's a sad turn of events. Sad Sad Sad
