Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

Finished mid table, not a bad effort really, the basis of a decent team is starting to appear, youngsters coming in being directed by old heads should hopefully mean a shot at the play offs next season, that's put the jinx on it.
Matt Duke, Craig Fagan, Tijani Belaid and Anthony Gardner have all been released the club have confirmed today.
Ipswich are interested in keeping Jimmy Bullard
The Tigers are hoping to sign Neil Danns (Palace) on a free transfer but other clubs are interested.
Corry Evans and Joe Dudgeon were today expected to conclude their moves from Manchester United to formally begin City's recruitment drive but at least another handful of new arrivals are expected before the start of next season.
Jack Hobbs, Anthony Gerrard and Daniel Ayala are all on a list of targets for central defensive strengthening while an experienced goalkeeper is also sought.

Was abit gutted the way we finished the season to be fair, but our home form let us down drastically. Personally would have given the award of player of the season to Liam Rosenior as well, Gerrard was clearly gonna be the only choice but Rosenior before he got injured I dont think he had one bad game at all, where as Gerrard made a few cock ups here and there but scored vital goals for us.

Let Ipswich have Jimmy Bullard.....quality player but a first rate piss artist and a waste of space.

Cant see us keeping Gerrard either but if we sign Jack Hobbs and Neil Danns I certainly wont be complaining. Danns is the type of player we have been crying out for for a long time.

Next season is going to be very interesting. Cant see us having as good away record, so our home form as got to improve.
