I've never been to see Cricket and I didn't know there was a cricket ground in Fartown. You learn something new every day

Fartown also had the Huddersfield rugby league ground and I think the Bowls club as well.

Yorkshire seconds used to play at Marske,Saltburn and Thornaby when I was a young un.

Saw Yorkshire 2nds play at marske a few times.
They played Durham 2nds at Acklam Park last July

St.Georges Road is the Harrogate venue, though Yorkshire haven't playted there for years.
It was a nice set-up but some scumbags burnt down the nice old pavillion a couple of years ago.
It's also the temporary home of Pannal Sports Junior Football Club.

3 day games in Harrogate were superb, pity they don't play there anymore. Love Headingley and the partizanship of the crowd though.
